Please excuse all my typos! My editor/husband is also out of town!
As I mentioned in my Girl's Weekend post I was in Phoenix on Saturday. Shelbie and I of course didn't want to miss out on the awesome deals that morning so we took a break from painting and hit a few garage sales that morning. Here is what we found!

I scored on the clothes this week. I hit two garage sales that had some really cute clothes. I spent $11 dollars at the first one and bought two pair or skinny jeans. The white pair still have the tags on them!
I also got this small bottle of Victoria Secret perfume .
I also bought the teal shorts on the left hand second row and the flats that are to the right and just below them in this picture.
At the second garage sale I spent $20 dollars and bought everything else you see here. There are 5 shirts and 5 dresses. When I was picking out what I wanted from the sale the ladies prices were a bit high. She had $5 dollars on some of the dresses and $3 dollars on the shirts. I grabbed what I wanted and then asked her if she would give me a deal if I got everything. She added everything up and it came up to $40 dollars! WAY to much for me. She then said since I was getting so much she would do $25 on everything. I told her I was comfortable paying $20 for all of it and that I would put back one item of clothing if I needed to unless she was willing to take $20 for it all. To my surprise she then said that $20 was fine for everything!

I also bought a few things for my girls.
I bought this 2T dress for $1. I haven't tried it on Jaysa yet but I am hoping it will fit her more like a shirt because it's so cute. If not I will just save it for Paisley.
I also bought Jaysa 4 more leotards for .50 cents a piece and some ballet shoes for $1.
I also bought this little girls pair of pink sparkly Tom Toms for $1! This is probably my favorite deal I got on Saturday. They are a bit scuffed up on the toes and a little big for Jaysa right now but they are so dang cute! I have been secretly hoping to find some for me but oh well, Jaysa will sure look cute in these.
My deal of the day would be this Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. Shelbie has one and LOVES it so when I saw this one I decided I would give it a try. I bought it for $2 dollars! Here is the Petunia Pickle Bottom Website. There is not a diaper bag on there thats under $100 dollars!
Here is something my girls will LOVE. These are those crazy rubber bracelets that are all different shapes and really popular right now with the kids. I bought this whole tub of them for .50 cents. The picture makes the tub look small but it is taller than my hand. There are probably a few hundred bracelets in it.
Shelbie bought this white shelf for her bathroom for $2 dollars.

She also bought these three glass bottles for $3 dollars. She paid $2 for the whiskey bottle on the right, .50 cents for the cup and .50 for the the one on the left.
Shelbie bought this clock for $2 dollars.
She also bought this iron decorative piece for $2 dollars.
Here is Shelbie's cute little girl Mya. She loves to sing. Shelbie found this cute little Christmas microphone that plays songs so you can sign along with it. Mya LOVED it! She was singing us all kinds of songs in the car. Shelbie had seen these during Christmas time and wanted to buy Mya one but they were $20 dollars! She bought this one for $1 dollar!

Shelbie also bought Mya some new DVD's. She got these two for $1 each. She also bought her Lady and the Tramp for $1.50 but I forgot to get a picture of it.

My cousin also sent me this picture later that day and said that she bought 20 Baby Einstein DVD's for $6 dollars! Thats .30 cents each! GREAT DEAL!
She messaged me yesterday and said she actually listed them on Craigslist and sold them for $40!

OTHER AWESOME DEALS
This cute Elmo chair was $7 dollars.
This crib was $75.
These two matching little boys beanies were $1 a piece. If I knew someone with twin boys I would have bought them!
This matching set of 4 lamps sold for $20 dollars.
These packets of scrapbook paper were $7 dollars a piece. I thought it was a little high but when you think about how much paper is in each packet it's actually a pretty good deal.
This is that really fine glitter that is really popular right now. The lady only wanted $1 a piece on these.

Getting ready for the arrival of a little newborn can get REALLY expensive, especially when your buying everything from the store. If you buy what you can at garage sales you can save yourself SO much money!
These are those baby safety outlet plugs and latches. $1 a piece. I found this package of plug protectors, latches and a door handle for $6.50 online at Walmart.com

This bottle drying rack was also $1. I couldn't find a price on this one at the Target.com website. Prices varied between stores but I bought this one when I had Jaysa and I believe it was just under $10 dollars
These snack containers were .50 cents a piece
These are Avent bottle nipples. The ones that say .50 cents on them only had one nipple in the case but the one that says $1 was brand new and unopened. None of them had been used. These are 4.97 a piece at Walmart

This pack n play was $50 dollars.
This cute little boys tool set was $3 dollars and came with a little truck that everything could be displayed on. Only if I had a little boy!

This ABC puzzle was only .50 cents
Here is an I pad cover for only $3 dollars!!!!

We also went to a Man's Garage sale.
The guy had screws and nails of every kind and lots of other tools. Sorry guys! I have no idea what all this other stuff is! Men, if you jump on craiglist before you get out there Saturday morning and plan your route around the garage sales that advertise tools and other things your interested in you will be able to find so much more than what I show you on this blog! Everything I show you is what I just happen to come across while I am looking for stuff for me. If you plan out your day right you could have a very successful day.

  2. Wow! I can't believe you only paid $2 for that petunia pickle bottom diaper bag! And the toms were a steal too! I think those rubber band bracelets are so funny! I just sent some glow in the dark ones to my sister because she is working at a summer camp and all the kids go nuts over them!
