Fashion on a Dime/Kids Corner Swim Wear Edition

With Summer coming to an end I wanted to hurry and get this post up. No, I do not buy my swim suits from garage sales and second hand stores, sorry thats where I draw my line for buying used materials but I do love having cute swim suit cover ups and those are just fine to find at garage sales and second hand stores!

This one I found while garage saleing in Arizona and paid $2 dollars for it! I also bought my sunglasses at a garage sale for $1 dollar. My total outfit cost is $3 dollars with a DPWF of .30 cents!
I bought this dress about a year ago at Savers and love using it as a swim cover up. I bought it for $12.99 at Savers but had a 20% off coupon so I got it for around $10 dollars. My hat is from the Orange County Swap Meet. I bought it for $5 dollars! You can't really see my flip flops but I have a pair of gold strap flip flops on I bought at a garage sale for $3.50. My sunglasses were $1 at a garage sale. My total outfit cost is $19.50 with a DPWF of $1.95.

This dress was also bought at Savers with a 20% off coupon. I paid $6.75 for it. My gold sandals were bought at goodwill on a 50% off Saturday for $2.50. Again my sunglasses were bought at a garage sale for $1 dollar. My total outfit cost is $10.25 with a DPWF of just barley over $1.
This swim suit cover up in one of my favorites. This one was also bought in Arizona for $2 dollars. My sandals are Steve Madden and were bought at a garage sale the same week for $1 dollar. My orange and tan hat was bought at the Orange County Swap Meet. I paid $12.50 for it. My sun glasses were $1 from a garage sale. My total outfit cost is $16.50 with a DPWF of $1.65

This is also one of my favorite cover ups. I love that they are pants. I bought this outfit for $17 dollars at the Orange County Swap Meet.
I also bought this teal sun hat for another $12.50. Once again my sun glasses were $1. My total outfit cost was $30.50 with a DPWF of just over $3 dollars.

Although I don't buy my swimsuits at second hand stores I do however feel comfortable buying kids swimsuits at garage sales and second hand stores. Some people may still not be comfortable with this, thats totally fine. It's all about what you feel comfortable buying. If it creeps you out no worries move right past the kids swimsuits and look at some of the other amazing deals you can find.
Here is what my girls wear to the Lake.
I never spend more than a few dollars on a swimsuit. About 90% of the time I will only pay $1 for them. However, I believe I paid $2 dollars for this swim suit of Paisley's.
I love this picture of her dumping water on her head.
Here is one I bought Jaysa last week for $1. It's from baby GAP. Got to love her little pose!

This is a swim suit Jaysa wore when she was Paisley's age. I found this one and another pink and brown zebra striped one. I bought them for .50 cents a piece!

This is another swim suit that I bought last week while garage saleing. I love the little ruffle skirt. I paid $1 for it.

I only paid $1 for this white and gold striped baby GAP swim suit!
Here is another cute one of Paisley's. I only paid $1 for this one too!

  3. You have the CUTEST cover-ups! And I like how some of them cover your shoulders - that's what always needs a break from the heat for me.
