Old Door Revamp

As you all know, I love to upcycle things and make them more beautiful than they were before. I bought two of these old doors from a fellow garage saler I see pretty often on Saturday mornings. He is an old guy that likes to head up north every once in a while to bring back old vintage items like this. I paid  $15 a piece for these doors.
When I got them home I sanded off all the old paint that was lifting from the wood.

I then stained the exposed wood and also used the stain to give the painted areas a more distressed look.
Here are both doors.
For now, they are serving as somewhat of a headboard in my guest bedroom.
Using old doors is such a fun way to decorate. The old iron headboard I found at a garage sale for $10 dollars!
